Group 70 - Kaupuni Village Wins Sustainability Award from APA Hawaii Chapter
Honolulu (July 12, 2010) – The American Planning Association (APA) Hawai‘i Chapter presented the Innovation in Planning: Best Practices for Sustainability Award to Group 70 at its annual meeting, held on July 9 at the Plaza Club, for Kaupuni Village.

GROUP 70 - National Honor for Local Planner
Honolulu (May 19, 2010) – Ralph E. Portmore, FAICP, urban and regional planner with Group 70 International, Inc., was inducted as a Fellow with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) at the American Planning Association’s (APA) 2010 National Planning Conference in New Orleans. He will be honored, locally, at a reception at the Pacific Club, sponsored by the APA Hawaii Chapter on May 27th.

KANU O KA‘ĀINA Awarded Top LEED® PLATINUM Green Building Certification
Honolulu (May 14, 2010) – Group 70 International announced today that Halau Ho'olako – Community Resource Center, the first phase of development on the Kanu o Ka 'Āina Learning Ohana campus has been awarded the top LEED® Platinum (level of certification) by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED is the USGBC’s leading edge system for designing and constructing the world’s greenest, energy efficient, high performing buildings.
